The Peer Pal Project
Peer Pal is a educational platform used by schools K-12 and colleges to promote there brand and recruit new students. Schools use parents of current students as well as students as ambassadors to talk to prospective students and their parents about how the school is. They share their experiences by live chat, video chat, email and personal profile on the school’s peer pal platform. New families can get insight from current families about student life, classes, culture, the staff and any other questions answered before making a decision. I was brought in the help flush out some key UX features and interactions. These features are Chat Widget, Profile Card, and a landing Page. I had a white board session mapping out the flow and interactions. I created wireframes and UI designs for the final look and feel.
